hi,
I tried to execute the following command from the server im workin on,
cat /users/merc/ship/pars_rem.pl | ssh username:password@remoteserver +"cat > /users/merc/tmp ; chmod 755 /users/sword/tmp ; /users/sword/tm +p "
this is the error i get
Cannot write to a directory. ksh: /users/merc: 0403-005 Cannot create the specified file. ksh: /users/merc: 0403-006 Execute permission denied.
this is the path is on the server im workin on:
/users/merc/ship/pars_rem.pl
this path is on the remote server:
/users/merc/tmp
i gave full permission for the tmp directory
what i wanna do is copy pars_rem.pl script on the remote server, execute it against the log file present on the remote server, get the result on my server and delete my pars_rem.pl on the remote server.
can any body give me some suggestion?
Merc.
