Hi, I am working on UNIX machine which has got Perl-5.6.1 by default.As i need Perl 5.8.8 I set some environment variables and convert 5.6.1 to 5.8.8 . this i do it manually all the time. can anyone suggest me any way so that the environment variables get set permanently and i don't have to keep setting all the time.
