Interesting article over at ONLamp about Developing RESTful Web Services in Perl. Nice use of the new PUTDATA feature of CGI which was fleshed out here in the Monastery.
If I had to nitpick, I would say the author goes against the norm in associating PUT operations with the U in CRUD and the POST operation with C - I think most do it the other way (PUT creates a resource, POST modifies it). Looking at the HTTP spec, it's sufficiently vague enough (and support of PUT in a lot of client side software is lacking) that I wouldn't get all xkcd about it.
