When browsing from my GPRS mobile, I use /bare/index.pl, which is a version of PerlMonks without all the fluff. No nodelets, no navigation bar, just plain content. I have some bookmarks for the CB, just_chat and just_search (I think). In addition, I have images switched off. With these, browsing through a slow connection is almost agreeable.
