Dear Monks,

I've been wondering for something (very) roughly like MS Access/Oracle Forms/File Maker, but for web applications and scripting is done using Perl. Any suggestions? What do you guys use?

My thought so far is: For web framework (handling HTTP requests and in general organization of the web applications) there are already many: Cataylst, CGI::Applications, Mason, etc. There will probably also be an OO-relational mapper included, like DBIx::Class, Rose::DB, Class::DBI.

But what about easing form development, or creating "worksheet view"/"DB grid", or even something like event-driven programming? In other words the other elements for rapid web database application development. Are there modules for that in CPAN?
