Have you tried the obvious sudo cpan install DBIC::Session? Just because it's not in the prerequisites doesn't mean it's not required. Even jrockway makes mistakes.

Update: Use quester's response instead

My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
