I have recently moved from a position where I was the only person in the shop that used Perl to a place where everybody uses Perl. I find that for anyone who is serious about learning Perl, this is the essential resource. My new fellow workers were unaware of this site, but have been subjected to gentle evangelizing.

One of the important things about this site is the people and sense of community here. This is pretty much the way things would be everywhere in a perfect world.
