I have written some tests to exercise the web application that I've taken over -- and they've been extremely helpful in making sure things are working properly. However, I originally wrote them with (ahem) hard-coded values, and it was always my plan to parameterize that stuff.

So yesterday, I got that parameterization done with a little dose of YAML, and it works fine. However, I'd really like to be able to split the single test file into multiple files (for each piece of functionality), but that would mean each file would have to open and read the configuration file.

I'm sure there must be a simple solution that I'm not aware of. Suggestions, anyone?
