Hello, Can somebody please explain to me what's happening in this line: 
    

my $verbose = (@ARGV && $ARGV[0] eq '-v' && shift);

I understand what ARGV and SHIFT do, I just can't figure out what's getting assigned to $verbose. Thanks.
