BTW. Ctrl-Q is a misnomer here. After a Ctrl-S pause, any key* will resume output.
Pressing Ctrl-Q ("resume" or "xon") is how it works in Linux (and presumably any *nix system). Pressing any key instead seems to be shell specific as it doesn't work in Bash.In reply to Re^2: How to intercept ctrl-S/ctrl-Q characters from STDIN
