You will have to ignore the test failures in t/44_upgrade_db.t as it does require FileHandle::Fmode for its regression tests. This has been fixed in SVN and will be fixed in 1.0014. (*sighs*)
My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
