Two questions, the first I feel has been asked before, but I would like some more input...
-When writing in a manuscript is is "perl" or "Perl"?

Having never dealt with any type of programing in a manuscript prior to now...
-Do you provide a citation for the language you used? ... if so how would you cite Perl/perl?

These seem fundamental to me, but I am not able to find anything when I search.
