Sorry!! I am dumbass of the month because my server admin has just mailed me to tell me that LWP has only just been configured. I am not a great fan of modules because I feel it is cheating when you are a beginner (arguement follows for sure). The raw code for the job seems to be something like: open(FILE "http://www.perl.org:80"); GET http/1.....etc As I am not a great unix monk, could someone finnish this so that I would be the more wiser. Thanks
