Now really; what is the point of reaping this post at this late date? Now we have a dozen replies that have no context (except of course, that it's easily retrieved with a bit of inconvenience).

I thought it was hilarious; hard to tell if the guy is actually sociopathic or just a troll. In either case, it was a useful post, although in an opposite way from the author's intent (i.e. as a negative example that various monks can hang positive assertions on).
