I have a file that contains a string of several hex digits (that begins with "0x")

   ex. "blah0x4445434C41524520405420blah blah"

I would like to grab the hex digits, after the "0x", two at a time and convert them to the corresponding ASCII characters.
Further, I would like to echo all the other characters in the file. Using the string above, I should get

    "blahDECLARE @T blah blah".

Your help is most appreciated.
