Hi monks,

Everyone familiar with Novell NetDrive and similar applications knows what I am talking about: is there a way to use perl to write an app that will mount a virtual drive on a windows machine? What is the basic procedure to do that?

There seem to be a few helpers out there to do that, like the Dokan library. Would a wrapper around stuff like this be a solution? I would need to develop a device driver to let a perl app appear as, say, drive X: on a machine, right?

You see, I've got no idea about how to mess with Windows devices. Would be happy if someone could shed some light...
