I'm looking at creating a PDF on-the-fly (Does anyone have a favorite amongst the various CPAN PDF modules?). To be as kind as possible to the user, I was thinking my CGI would create the PDF based on input, then redirect the user to the PDF. Thus, I need a tempfile. I was looking at File::Temp, but it warns of possible race conditions with the filename. For the redirect, I obviously do need the filename...how can I ensure against a race condition?
