Can You Say Automation?
I interfaced my Progeny Debian box with my Lutron Automated Lighting Controller using Perl. That with Apache, MySQL, Everything, and a homebrewed node, I can control every ACL light in my home via the web.

Damn nice, but every once in a while, I get a friend playing with my lights during the middle of the night. I still need to implement restrictions on the app rather than restrictions on the box.

I love Perl!
