Hi,
I have about 3 000 000 of text lines.
Each line contains one or more numbers separated by
TAB.
I want to get only the unique numbers from each line.
Something like:
12123_TAB_456_TAB_455667
'Till noweverything was fine with a code like:
LOOP STARTS HERE
my %unique =();
grep {$unique{$_} = undef} split(/\t/, $myLine);
$myLine = join("\t", keys %unique);
LOOP ENDS HERE
Now it seems to be to slow, the lines length have increased.
There are lines of ~4kB .
Is there any other (fast) way to do it?
Best Regards,
Marcel
