I was looking through the source code for AnyEvent::HTTP and noticed this: 
sub http_post($$@) {
   my $url = shift;
   unshift @_, "POST", $url, "body";
   &http_request
}

but it seems odd that @_ was not explicitly passed... is it automatically passed somehow?
