I am sorry for that. Actually I am not able to proceed.
Actually I have to replace all the characters
& to
& in a file.
I should not replace
& to
&
I am facing a problem like this when I use the code:
#!/usr/bin/perl;
use HTML::Entities;
$to_decode = "TEST&TEST;A&E&an HTML--- string - < &co
+py; TVS>";
$encoded = encode_entities($to_decode);
print "Encoded data --> $encoded\n\n\n";
The output looks like this
Encoded data --> TEST&TEST;A&E&an HTML--- string - < © TVS>
But the required output is
TEST&TEST;A&E&an HTML--- string - < ©
+; TVS>
