Hi, That did not help either. What i want to do is when given the command line arguement as 
C:\Perl Script>perl summaryreport_latest_working.pl --LogDir=. --Prefi
+x=arcotwe --Individual="ArcotID"

here Individual can take multiple strings like Individual="QnA" or Individual="UP" so in main i want to write a code as, if i give Individual="ArcotID" , then it will execute that function. I think the problem is clear. Kindly suggest something. I am thankful to you monks for your kind support. Thanks NT
