I am in information over-load. I am trying to find the best - most straight forward module to allow me to extract the information that I need. Here is a partial copy of the data file that I will be extracting from:
NEW VEHICLE INVENTORY prepared by ANYUSER 04:15:00pm 21 Jul 2009 - PAGE # 2 STOCK NO........... G0034203 YR................. 10 CARLINE............ ACADIA SERIAL#............ 1GKLRKEDXAJ102450 COLOR DESCRIPTIONS. / LST PRICE.......... 36010.00 SALES CST.......... 36010.00 DAY................ 20 SC................. 1 STOCK NO........... G0034204 YR................. 10 CARLINE............ ACADIA SERIAL#............ 1GKLRKED1AJ101543 COLOR DESCRIPTIONS. / LST PRICE.......... 33615.00 SALES CST.......... 33615.00 DAY................ 20 SC................. 1 ^Z
Basiclly I this is a text print file. I need to get rid of (or ignore) the page title information and blank lines, and also the field descriptors and periods. I believe the ^Z at the bottom is the form feed. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this one? Thank you.
