That's about the most patronising reply I've ever got. This attitude pretty much encapsulates for me why Linux doesn't have more adoption. Just ignore the preferences / complaints of most people, because they just don't understand.
What you're basically saying is "you don't like/use emacs? we don't want your kind here". It's stupid. If there really was "one true editor" it would cater for everyone.
I have no problem "getting wet". And when I say I haven't got Komodo or Eclipse to work I just mean the remote debugging bits.
So anyway, you're telling me that if I don't *already know* how to use emacs with plugins, or how to get remote debugging to work in Komodo or Eclipse+EPIC then you can't help me? What the hell is a support forum for?
