That is not the same code, in the previous node you used 

my $abst = $NextDoc->GetFirstItem('Abstract');

and here, you're using 

my $abst = $NextDoc->GetItemValue("Abstract");

[download]

No wonder you get incompatible results. I'm guessing the other node is more correct.

Besides, you should be using $doc here, not $NextDoc.
