I'm looking for a module or simple solution to track dates. Basically I just need to count things I do today (since midnight localtime) and record them. I also need to track the last 7 days and last 30 days. I was thinking of using DBM::Deep module for a local light weight DB.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or sample code :)
