I'm using Active State Perl v5.8.7. When trying to use 'ppm describe' I get Error: No valid repositories: Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 <Bad hostname 'ppm.ActiveState.com'> Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 <Bad hostname 'ppm.ActiveState.com'> Is this due to the firewall? Is there a way to fix this? I've set http_proxy per the Active State instructions. Thanks. UPDATE: Never mind. It has to be the firewall at work. I installed Active State Perl on my home computer and ppm works as expected.
