Generally, to install a module for Active State Perl, you can run the Perl Package Manager (ppm). You've two interfaces to ppm, one graphical and the other one command line batch mode interface, I prefer the latest one on the graphical though because I feel it is stronger while the graphical one is not all that user-friendly (speaking for myself).

You've got a couple of mistakes out there trying to install a module, you'd figure out a basic idea about using the ppm after you read this. To trigger the graphical package manager all you got to do is just type ppm in the DOS prompt, it gives you a list with all the downloaded modules and you can download more of course. note:It takes time to populate the list.

The batch mode is stronger, you can just activate it by typing ppm-shell.bat and you're ready to go afterwards as in:
ppm>install Win32::GuiTest

Do you see that you use :: instead of slashes? and you're actually working in ppm> shell and not dos shell, so this done, if the module name is correct it'd be installed right away for you

to exit the ppm shell just type exit, it'd take you to the DOS shell. I'd suggest that you take your time familiarizing with the batch mode of the package manager, it is easy to figure out...

You can also check the path \Perl\bin if you wanted to activate ppm by icon clicking instead.
