Dear Monks,

What administrator privileges do I need to download and install modules in Perl while on a Windows XP box? I don't have problems with my Windows 2000 Professional box, so why I have with XP I don't know. IT support is telling me that the privileges are the same for the two boxes.

Update: It appears that the new ppm tool will work with the ActiveState Perl on Win XP, but the cpan command line will not.
