Hello! It is really bothering that I can't get this to work, I have tried for more than a week now. I have a lot of lcad .dat files. Many of them do not have their correct file name. I made a script to grab a bunch of them a while ago. All the files contain a line like this: 0 Name: Midway.dat I want to write a script that will read that line and rename every file that the name disagrees with. Thanks for your time! Scott
