To reiterate the point about the weakness of worksheet passwords, there is a brief description here of the weakness and a macro to remove all internal passwords. Sometimes, people at work send me (or my boss) spreadsheets to complete with protection that makes it more work than necessary. They get them back without protection but with this macro in a code module! And yes, I quote the URL in the comments.
