Has anyone had success in writing a web service which is liked by the Business Data Catalog in MOSS2007 ? I've spent over a week trying to figure out what the MS tool, Application Definition Desighner requires to get it working. After connecting to the web service, and executing a method instance - I receive the helpful error of "Index was out of range, Must be non-negitive and less than the size of the collection." There are lots of examples showing how to create .net web services which the BDC seems happy with, but I can't find one targeting PERL. Ideally I'm hoping for a simple example PERL webservice which can be happily consumed by the BDC in MOSS2007.
