Of the different Sudoko threads in PM it seems that no one presented a demonstration using 'format' before, they however presented generators and solvers and gave some more dynamism, check Sudoku Generator, Making Sudoku Puzzles Using PDF::API2,Sudoku puzzles solved using Regular Expressions to get more ideas...
