I'm porting some unix scripts over to the mac (uggg). The end users are gui addicts and refuse to use a command line interface. I would love to find some examples of how to structure some basic gui widgets like dialog boxes, list boxes, file handlers, etc..

I found an example of a basic little dialog box:

$answer = &MacPerl'Ask("What is the answer?")

but I can't seem to find a reference to other useful functions. Is there a list out there? Is there some way of querying &MacPerl for it's functions? Am I missing something in MacPerl's, dare I say, "useful" man pages? (the _only_ book is on 5 week backorder...)

Even better, how easy would it be to plug some perl functions into (and pass variables to and from) a RealBasic program (I've been through the tutorial but I still have more to learn).

Thanks
