Hi

I often have Emacs+Perl related questions and advices which seem somehow misplaced at SoPW.

Did the gods ever think about a dedicated board for "Development" issues?

Emacs people could flag them with a leading [emacs] in the title, others with [vi], [padre], [eclipse] or [komodo]

There could also be subjects like [git], [svn], [hq] and so on for revision control.

As a further/alternative suggestion the "Filtered Node" feature of RAT could be extended to filter on title-substrings like  /ignore does for the CB if you don't wanna special board for these issues.

As a side effect this should help limiting the DB queries and "clashes of civilizations"¹ could be easily avoided.

Cheers Rolf

UPDATE:

¹) like GNU-Elois vs VIMorlocks ;)
