I use pretty much the same things, except I use Template::Toolkit (the official website: http://template-toolkit.org/) for my templating needs. I've also found the following modules helpful:

• CGI::Application::Plugin::TT -- adds Template Toolkit to CGI::Application
• CGI::Application::Plugin::AutoRunmode -- lets me specify RunModes as sub attributes instead of an annoyingly long list somewhere
• CGI::Session -- the handiest session module I've found so far
