These two files in the directory "/usr/bin" are batch files that are intended for the command interpreter to read and execute. Which platform are you on, which Perl version? Did you observe any other errors through installing this module...???

On a side note, If you're on Active State Perl for example that has the Perl Package Manager (PPM), you can check installed Perl modules via the command verify (MODULE-NAME) right from that package manager's shell itself...
