Python 3000 started as a project on 05-Apr-2006. There was not a single line of code written before that, nor a description of the feature set. It was just a joke, like the Parrot april fool's joke.
Could you please back up your statement with a source/citation?
I know almost nothing of the python development process, and if one persons says "yae" and the other "nae", how am I supposed to know whom to believe?
