Having taken the brave / foolish step to abandon my job and T100 connection to the internet
without another job to go to I find I'm actually missing Perlmonks quite a bit.

I quit April 27th and still havent got a job using perl I want in London.
I am being choosy though and I find encouragingly enough that there are quite a few jobs out there requiring Perl. Though the market is definitely slow in the UK, Perl is still way up there in client requirements,

A combination of a 56K modem and financial reasons makes me hope I can be back soon without my newest nodes being too large!

Reading the Perl 6 missives and much more occaisionally visiting here give me hope....
