Hi Dave,

wget allows you specify a proxy to use on the command line or via a no_proxy env setting, however there is a known issue with the no_proxy setting in ubuntu, to resolve 

~/$ export no_proxy=$(echo $no_proxy | sed 's/,$//')

[download]
and try again

print "Good ",qw(night morning afternoon evening)[(localtime)[2]/6]," fellow monks."
