This is NOT a question you should have needed to ask after your nearly five years here.
After seeing http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/ScriptCenter/en-us/92a84c4d-b232-4b83-8b4d-4abec6662172, & http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa380072(VS.85).aspx, you might reconsider.
Of course, you might have found something special amongst those CPAN name spaces that I've missed, (but I doubt it). Think twice before making assumptions about "Date"s, when "Win32" (and especially "OLE") is also involved.
