I'm using Cava Packer to package up a Perl script as a Windows .exe. The process generates an installer that is about 2.3 MB. The installer seems to work fine and the script runs as expected. True, there is a mess of files buried down in the Program Files folder, but so long as the app runs and the install/uninstall process is clean, so what? Disk space doesn't cost anything these days and a 9 MB footprint is pretty modest compared with many applications.
