I had been thinking about posting this for a few days here but wasn't sure if it qualified as Perl news so we'll see if it makes more sense as a meditaion.

The proposed Mozilla Web App store will feature apps developed using HTML5/CSS and Javascript I figured Perl can't be far behind. :) This seems to me to possibly be one of the first real opportunities to create mobile apps using Perl (Although the Qt framework used for MeeGo is also a possibility).
