Please pardon me if someone has brought this up before, I admit I didn't do my due diligence searching all of the previous discussions...

I'm curious if it would be possible to turn the chatter box into an auto-updating chat, similar to Google chat or Microsoft IM. Is it possible to treat it like a massive chat conversation with all logged-in users a party to the chat?

It takes on average about 15 seconds for the site to refresh every time I click 'Talk', which makes following ongoing conversations pretty difficult.
