What i am looking for here is a little bit of code to do some renaming of pictures for me.
The pictures are saved in these file names:
xxxxxxxxxxxxx.tif = The original file
xxxxxxxxxxxxx 8 by 10.tif = A HUGE 50meg file. Very Few.
xxxxxxxxxxxxx 4 by 6.tif = The 4 by 6 picture
xxxxxxxxxxxxx screen res.jpg = A screen res JPG image
(640by480).
xxxxxxxxxxxxx thumbnail.jpg = A 90 by 120 sized thumbnail.
and
TN_xxxxxxxxxxxxx.jpg = the other way i thumbnailed.
Parameters to the project:
A) The name is changed to something like 000014b6.tif, 00001sr.jpg, and 00001tn.jpg. (and possibly 000018b10.tif)
B) The rename process only takes place when there is a screen res and thumbnail present. without those, nothing happens. 4by6 and 8by10 are not as important.
C) A database text file (i will fill in for each picture by hand later) is created with the number (aka 00001.txt).
D) Has to run on Windows 2000 and run with a hell of a lot of pictures. like 1000's.
