Hi,
I am using Net::SSH::Expect as root and am trying to run a script on a different user.
This script among other things is reading a password using Term::ReadPassword --> read_password , which uses :
.
.
my($in, $out) = Term::ReadLine->findConsole;
die "No console available" unless $in;
if (open TTY, "+<$in") {
# Cool
} elsif ($ALLOW_STDIN) {
open TTY, "<&STDIN"
or die "Can't re-open STDIN: $!";
} else {
die "Can't open '$in' read/write: $!";
}
.
.
Among others… I am stating this as I think this is relevant to the problem.
My script is able to run the other users script but when I try to enter the password using :
$exp->send($password);
The password is printed to the screen but the other script does not seem to receive it.
Any idea of the problem or how to get around it?
