so you may end up with a duplicate entry in the HTML:print qq~ <select> <option>$populate <option>1 <option>2 <option>3 </select> ~;
but it works and it's a lot cleaner code on the perl side.<select> <option>2 <option>1 <option>2 <option>3 </select>
