Dear All,
I want a perl script to extract only the user defined methods from a ruby file.
For example:
Consider the following Ruby file,
puts "hai"
def mult(a,b)
a * b
end
puts "hello"
def getCostAndMpg
cost = 30000 # some fancy db calls go here
mpg = 30
return cost,mpg
end
AltimaCost, AltimaMpg = getCostAndMpg
puts "AltimaCost = #{AltimaCost}, AltimaMpg = {AltimaMpg}"
From the above ruby code the perl script should parse the above file and it has to return only the methods code from that ruby file.
So that it has to return the output like
Expected Output
def mult(a,b)
a * b
end
def getCostAndMpg
cost = 30000 # some fancy db calls go here
mpg = 30
return cost,mpg
end
Kindly give me a perl script or guide me is there any perl module to achieve this.
Thanks in Advance!
