As you don't show any code, it's hard to tell. Most likely, you're not printing the ->{Value} of the cell. Consult the Microsoft Excel documentation.
As an aside, your question would have received better attention had you posted it as a root node instead as a reply to another post. The process of promoting the question to a root node has now been started.
