I am getting weird numbers in the middle of the html code; 1 and 11, using:
while (<DATA>) { 
    $_.=s/<--date\/\/>/$date/;
    $_.=s/<--loc\/\/>/$location/;
    $data .= $_ 
 }

Any ideas why?
